Answers to the usual questions

Usually the same day if your email arrives before 5pm. After that, first thing next morning. If you've asked about a date in the next 48 hours, ring instead, since the room may go while the email sits.

Yes, and it's the better way to do it. Say so in the form and we'll hold a suite and a seat in the same evening. You pay the suite rate and the table rate separately, which is fine, and there's no bundle discount.

At reception, yes. For the chef's table everything goes through the card on file, mostly because it settles the bill without interrupting service. If you'd prefer cash for the whole stay, ring before you arrive and we'll set it up.

Tell us before 9pm and we'll leave a code and instructions. Past nine, the door locks and the phone diverts. Late arrivals are common enough that it's routine rather than a favour.

For 24 hours, yes. That gives you time to sort flights. After that we either take a card or release the room, which is fairer to whoever's waiting behind you.
